John Convery was recognized with the first Lucien Campbell Lifetime Achievement Award for Leadership and Enrichment of the Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Panel, the legal profession and the public over a lifetime, presented by the CJA Panel Selection Committee at the SABA Federal Courts Committee Dinner.

The Bar is pleased to welcome our newly elected SABA Board of Directors. Board members begin their term August 1, 2022.

Directors newly elected to a two-year term (2022-2024) are Emma Cano, Charla Davies, Charles "Charlie" Deacon and Jorge Herrera. Directors entering their second year of service are Directors (2021-2023) Kacy Cigarroa, Tiffanie Clausewitz, Grant McFarland and Jaime Vasquez.

Donna McElroy will begin her term as President. The other Board Officers include Steve Chiscano as President-Elect, Patricia "Patty" Rouse Vargas as Treasurer and Nick Guinn has been elected Secretary. Lawrence Morales, II will serve as Immediate Past-President.
