Participation Requirements
- ✓ Be an active member of the San Antonio Bar Association
- ✓ Be in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
- ✓ Maintain a professional office in the San Antonio metropolitan area
- ✓ Provide a professional liability policy with a minimum of $100,000/$300,000 (unless you exclusively practice criminal defense)
- ✓ Agree to the Lawyer Referral Service's Terms of Membership
- ✓ $200 annual dues (fee waived for exclusive membership on our low-bono panels)
Affordable Professional Liability Coverage Through TLIE
Need malpractice insurance to participate in the Lawyer Referral Service? The San Antonio Bar Association partners with the Texas Lawyers’ Insurance Exchange (TLIE) to help attorneys obtain affordable professional liability coverage for Lawyer Referral Service referrals.
TLIE’s Lawyer Referral Service policy covers legal work referred through a State Bar of Texas certified lawyer referral service and is available for as little as $450 per lawyer annually.
