SABA members facing unexpected life events sometimes host campaigns supporting their treatment or recovery. SABA policy does not permit SABA to host, sponsor or initiate fundraising or awareness events for an individual member(s), nor may we email members regarding such campaigns.
However, SABA may post-campaign information on social media. Information submitted must be complete with campaign details, links and conducted with the cooperation and full knowledge of the SABA member to benefit. Social media posting is subject to SABA approval, at the discretion of the Executive Director and decisions are final. Please submit requests HERE.

OBITUARY LISTING IN MAGAZINE
SAN ANTONIO LAWYER®
The spring edition of the San Antonio Lawyer® print magazine typically includes a feature article listing the SABA members who passed away in the previous year. The editorial staff may choose 4-5 members for pullout columns that include slightly more information. The memorials are sourced from the list posted on the SABA website HERE.
TEXAS BAR JOURNAL
The State Bar of Texas will publish a memorial in the monthly Texas Bar Journal. Submit your request HERE.
4th COURT OF APPEALS MEMORIAL SERVICE
The 4th Court of Appeals holds 8-10 Memorial Services each year. The Court Justices invite the family to participate in a court ceremony in memory of their SABA member. One or two attorneys are honored during the memorial service with a court resolution and tribute during the court ceremony. Typically, honorees are considered near their one-year death anniversary.
TRIBUTES
SA Bar Foundation Tributes may be made in honor, in celebration or in memory of a friend or loved one. Tributes are listed in the monthly newsletter as “In memory of John Smith from Jane Doe”. Tributes can be made HERE.
