Gala Benefit & Awards
The annual Gala is the San Antonio Bar Foundation’s largest celebration.
Leaders in the San Antonio legal and civic community come together to commemorate professional and philanthropic successes. The evening is filled with dinner, entertainment and awards. The most prestigious legal community awards are presented at the Gala, including the Lifetime Achievement Award - The Joe Frazier Brown, Sr. Award of Excellence.

Law Week
Law Week is a week of public-facing legal events that coincides with the American Bar Association Law Day. Law Day, typically held annually on May 1 across the nation, celebrates the rule of law and underscores how law and the legal process contribute to the freedoms all Americans share. In San Antonio, we celebrate Law Week with a calendar of events that include an elementary school reading program, a Law Week proclamation presented by the Bexar County Commissioners’ Court, distribution of pocket constitutions to over 1000 jurors in recognition of the role all citizens play in our dispensation of justice and a luncheon dedicated to the rule of law.
