The sold out 2022 SABF Gala Benefit & Awards raised over $100,000 for civic education, scholarship and pro bono services.

Over 600 attendees enjoyed an evening of fellowship and celebration. The San Antonio Young Lawyers Association presented the Outstanding Young Lawyer Award to Zoe Russell, the Liberty Bell Award to Tashawna Taylor-Hall and the Outstanding Mentor Award to Allan DuBois. The San Antonio Bar Foundation presented the Peacemaker Award to ileta! Sumner and the Community Service Award to Phil Watkins. The San Antonio Bar Association presented the Joe Frazier Brown Award of Excellence, Lifetime Achievement Award to Jane Bockus.

Our first cohort of Finlayson Fellows, a group of high-achieving, first-generation students with an interest in developing their legal career in San Antonio, was introduced to the legal community and inspired generous paddle ask.
