In employment and economic damage cases, knowing the plaintiff’s re-employment opportunities and job search efforts is crucial in calculating damages.

Each plaintiff’s knowledge and responsibilities are used to analyze labor market conditions and supplies. What makes EmployStats unique is our ability to customize and personalize labor market data to best match our plaintiff’s expertise level. We utilize a number of data sources including electronic job search data and public labor data sources such as the U.S. Bureau of labor statistics (BLS) for analyzing labor mitigation cases.

SALSA’s Housing and Homelessness Program hosted three St. Mary’s University School of Law students during Spring Break.

The San Antonio Bar Foundation and the St. Mary's University School of Law worked in concert to host the 29th Annual People's Law School, which promotes equal access to justice and informs citizens about their rights. Thanks to SABA members and law school volunteers for leading this successful event! 

SABA members will receive their Board of Directors Election ballots by email today between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. (CST)

The online election will be conducted from April 3-21. Voting closes on April 21 at 5pm (CST). The 2023-2024 Board of Directors will be announced in the May Subpoena.

Clayshoot Chair, Judge Rosie Speedlin Gonzalez, welcomed 13 teams to the second annual benefit event. The weather was crisp at the SA Gun Club and competitors enjoyed an outdoor BBQ lunch while watching their colleagues. 

SABA President Donna McElroy presented awards to the top-scoring teams and thanked them for supporting civic education, scholarship and pro bono services in our community.

Congratulations to our tournament winners: 1st place to Jackson Walker; 2nd place to Langley & Banack; 3rd place to Davis & Santos. The award for Top Shooter went to AJ Johnson and the “Preserver of the Clays” went to Jose Rivas.
