In addition to furthering SABA's interests, the purposes of the LGBT Law Section are to (1) develop CLE programs that report on legal issues relating to sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender non-conformity, or the law as it might affect the rights, responsibilities, or needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender-identified (LGBT) and other gender non-conforming individuals; and (2) provide social opportunities for section members regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
