San Antonio Bar Association Announces newly elected Board of Directors for 2020-2021

Judge Ernie Glenn and the team of the Bexar County Felony Drug Court were awarded the 2020 Judge Ruben G. Reyes Outstanding Specialty Court Team Award for, “Effective Teamwork & Utilizing Best Practice Standards to Save Souls” from the Texas Association of Specialty Courts (TASC).  Judge Reyes epitomizes the idea that good intentions are not enough, that best practice standards save lives and souls.   

Three days a week, Missy Kauffman delivers meals to homebound seniors in San Antonio through Meals on Wheels. She also worked for the SA FoodBank at the mass distribution sites.

Missy and her husband, David, are considered by their doctors to be recovered COVID 19 patients. “We are part of a small number of people who got the virus really early on and are now likely immune. After I recovered, I wanted to help and landed on Meals on Wheels and the SA FoodBank."
 

Justin Morley is being named a Rising Star in Family Law for 2020 by Texas Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters print and online publication.

Morley, who runs Langley. Banack & Pfeuffer, the firm’s Central Texas office in New Braunfels, provides counseling in family law matters, probate and guardianship law, probate litigation, estate planning, will preparation, temporary and permanent guardianship, medical powers of attorney and more. He is Board Certified in Family Law, a Certified Mediator, and was named a Fellow of American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in 2019.
