SABA provides members with opportunities to expand their professional expertise, network and be of service. Even with San Antonio's ranking as the seventh largest city in the United States, our local bar boasts a close-knit collegial membership that enjoys a shared reverence for the law.
San Antonio Bar Foundation
The SA Bar Foundation is the charitable arm of the San Antonio Bar Association and funds civic education, access to justice projects and programs that expand the pipeline of future lawyers and judges. SABA members that are recognized for their leadership and community service may be nominated to serve as an SA Bar Foundation Fellow. The SA Bar Foundation celebrates 35 years of service as the heart of the legal community.
Community Justice Program
The Community Justice Program (CJP) is the pro bono project of the San Antonio Bar Association. Founded in 2002, the CJP matches volunteer attorneys with vulnerable communities in need of legal services. Through partnerships with social service organizations, the CJP joins a consortium of legal aid and local pro bono agencies that help provide access to justice.
