R L Wilson Law Firm is seeking an experienced (5+ Years) civil litigation paralegal to join our San Antonio office. We are a small but highly active real estate litigation practice handling complex, fast-moving matters involving Texas real property disputes, transactions, and related litigation.
This is a hands-on litigation role with meaningful responsibility and direct involvement in case progression from intake through resolution.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage and track an active litigation docket across multiple real estate matters
- Review, organize, and summarize case files, title documents, and discovery materials
- Draft pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, affidavits, and correspondence
- Assist attorneys in preparing cases for hearings, mediations, and trial
- Analyze records and evidence, including property and transactional documents
- Prepare case summaries, status reports, and litigation updates for clients
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel
- Maintain accurate and timely billing entries and case tracking
- Support general case management in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of recent civil litigation paralegal experience in a law firm
- Strong knowledge of Texas state court practice; federal experience is a plus
- Real estate litigation or property-related case experience strongly preferred
- Ability to independently manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong legal drafting, research, and document analysis skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with litigation platforms is a plus
- High attention to detail and strong organizational discipline
- Professional communication skills with clients, counsel, and court staff
- Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential and sensitive matters
