Looking for ways to give back to the San Antonio community? The San Antonio Bar Association has curated a list of current volunteer opportunities ranging from full-scope, pro-bono representation to donating time to local charitable organizations.
In support of providing access to justice, the State Bar of Texas Resolution recommends every Texas attorney provide at least 50 (fifty) hours of pro bono service a year.
The San Antonio Bar Foundation hosts three major events throughout the year, including Law Week, our annual Gala, and Fun Run. If you are interested in volunteering, please email Ashley Benson – firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ask A Lawyer is a free community service event, where volunteer attorneys donate a small chunk of their time to answer simple legal questions and provide public resources. SABA hosts five 7-week Ask A Lawyer series throughout the year. During the series, Ask A Lawyer will run every Tuesday evening from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The next Ask A Lawyer series will begin April 27, 2021. If you would like to volunteer, please register here.
The San Antonio Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service offers low-bono opportunities for its members. To participate, you must be a member of both the San Antonio Bar Association and the Lawyer Referral Service.
